Beta Terms

Effective July 2026 — Beta Program

01 — What This Is

Bootlegger is currently in beta. The software is provided free of charge and may contain bugs or incomplete features. We make no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or uninterrupted service during the beta period.

02 — Who Owns It

Bootlegger is the sole property of the developer. Beta access grants you a limited, non-transferable right to use the software during the beta period only. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the software. Any feedback, suggestions, or feature requests you provide become the sole property of the developer.

03 — Data Collection

By using the beta, you agree that operational data generated through the software—such as drop locations, routes, and batch activity—may be collected and aggregated to improve the product and generate market insights. We remove your company name and direct contact information before any data is aggregated or shared externally.

04 — Data License & Verified Reporting

You grant Bootlegger a perpetual, non-exclusive license to: (a) share placement records you generate—including GPS locations, timestamps, sign condition, and placement photos—with the client the work was performed for, when and only when you direct us to (for example, by sending or publishing a verification report); and (b) use anonymized, aggregated placement data—stripped of your company name, crew identities, and client names—to build benchmarks, market analytics, and derived data products. Raw records identifying your company are never sold or shared with third parties without your direction. You retain ownership of your operational records; if you leave the platform, this license survives only for data already incorporated into anonymized aggregates.

05 — Limitation of Liability

Neither party is liable to the other for lost signs, service downtime, data loss, or any other damages arising from use of the beta software. Use at your own risk.
